Opening Again In May
Hi everyone (and Richard), we are opening again May 1st, so i hope we have a nice warm weekend for everyone to drop by and have a glass of wine. We have been very busy the past 3 weeks bottling our 2010 vintages. Thanks to all the help we have been getting from family and friends!!
We are also trying to get a vineyard wagon made, so we can take groups up to 12 people through the vineyard on a tasting tour!! We hope to have this completed by June. Please keep checking the blog for new dinner dates. We plan to have two in may, so keep your eyes open.
We still have some wines left from our 2009 vintage, so if anyone is interested, they are on sale for $8.00 a bottle.

March is here!!!!
Wow, March is here all ready!!! We are still very busy in the winery and in the vineyard. We are trying to get out in the vineyard to prune as much as possible, but the snowfall is making that a challenge this year. Nearly half the vines are covered in snow (wow about 4 feet) but we keep trudging through the deep snow to get our work done. The winery work during this time of year includes: filtering, lab testing for alcohol levels etc, rackings, and trying to get everything set up for bottling. We are trying to get new labels for this year, so make sure to stop by and check them out. We also have a couple new wines on the list, which should be very enjoyable come spring. We are doing a huge sale on our 2008 Frontenac Gris, so if you are interested, please send an e-mail my way and i can give you all the details. Also if anyone is interested there is a link so that you get updated every time i write on the blog. Hi everyone, it has been a while since the last post. We are still very busy in the winery and in the vineyard. We have been using the nice weather the past couple weeks to prune in the vineyard. We have close to 1.5 acres pruned, and only 8 more to go (sounds good doesn’t it lol). The wine is outside cold stabilizing, and we plan on doing our next racking soon. We are very excited for this spring so we can see everyone again. We hope everyone will stop out a bunch this season to watch the vineyard change from just a few buds in the spring, to thriving plants bearing fruit in the fall. We have added another outlet to our list, we are now located in Green Valley Liquor near Marshall, so if you are in that area please swing by and try one of our products. I would also like to take this time to tell everyone that we will be having our next wine and dine on Feb. 18th. Hi everyone, we are still doing tastings for private parties over the winter season. Please call or e-mail for further information. Things in the winery are going well. We will start pruning in the vineyard as soon as we get some weather above twenty degrees. Make sure to keep checking the blog for updates and news. Wine and Dine
Hi everyone, please keep checking the blog for new wine and dine updates for December. Our wine production this year is going great. We are very excited for the outcome of our marquette and frontenac which we are barrel aging for the first time. Our Frontenac Gris is on sale for $10.00 a bottle over the holiday season. Also ask about our gift boxes with the Hinterland logo fire branded on the box. Pictures of the gift box will be uploaded soon. Hi everyone, we apologize for our tardiness on updating the blog. Harvest was very busy this year, and we recently just finished processing the Frontenac grapes. We would like to thank everyone who was a part of this years harvest, and your help was greatly appreciated. All in all, harvest was a success, with no major problems. We were blessed with good weather and great help.
The grapes are dropping their leaves now, due to the cold weather we have been experiencing over the past two weeks. Recently, we have been working on removing the bird netting. It is going slow, but we are making our way through the vineyard piece by piece.
I would also like to take the time to advertise a fall sale we have going on. Starting October 23rd the Frontenac Gris will be on sale for ten dollars. Please keep checking the blog for other holiday specials and our dinner updates.
